Children already in the home: We have no children but two lovable fur babies!
Occupations: Andrew is a recruiter and helps people find jobs and Brigette is an ultrasound sonographer that scans ultrasounds on high-risk pregnant women.
Education: Andrew has his Bachelor's degree in economics and Brigette has her associate's degree in ultrasound sonography.
Where we live: Our home was built in 2001 on two acres. We are just on the outskirts of town but close enough that it doesn’t take long to get around the city. Our neighborhood is spaced apart with lots of trees and nature running around. We are very close to the river and lots of hiking trails.
Religious affiliation/practice: We attend an Assembly of God church and are very involved with serving.
Health: We are in great health and value taking care of ourselves.
Childcare plan: We plan to use a trusted in-home daycare provider who shares our values and commitment to a safe, nurturing environment. This provider will offer attention, learning, and socialization that is age appropriate. Brigette’s niece and nephew along with other family relatives have also attended that daycare. Brigette’s mom also lives very close and will be watching them when needed as well. She was a first-grade teacher for 42 years, so she has a lot of experience and cannot wait to help in any way in caring for the child.
School preference: We plan to send our kids to a public school. We value strong education and hope to enroll our child in a school that offers a safe, supportive, and diverse environment.
Hobbies/Interests: Hanging with family & friends Hunting Cold plunging Reading Fishing Golfing Running Working out Listening to music Archery Hiking
Pets: Two lovable German short haired pointer dogs! Additional comments: Family is very important to us, and we’re blessed to have a supportive group of relatives and friends nearby who are so excited to have a new baby in our family to love, guide and snuggle on.
Dear Expectant Parent(s),
We want to begin by saying thank you. Thank you for considering adoption and for taking the time to learn about us. We can only imagine how overwhelming and emotional this decision must be, and we deeply respect and honor the love and courage it takes to make such a meaningful and selfless choice for your child. We are incredibly excited about the possibility of becoming parents through adoption. For a long time, we’ve dreamed of growing our family and providing a loving, safe, and nurturing home. We want you to know that we are committed to providing a home filled with love, laughter, and warmth. Our family values kindness, respect, and honesty, and we promise to offer your child a life full of opportunities to explore, grow, and thrive. Whether it's through bedtime stories, family traditions, or celebrating milestones, we hope to create a strong and loving bond with your child, one built on trust, patience, and unconditional love.
We can't promise to be perfect parents, but we can promise to always do our very best, to be present at every moment, and to be there for your child through all of life's highs and lows.
We also want you to know that we’re open to a relationship with you in whatever way feels comfortable for you. We believe that ongoing communication is important, and we want to honor your wishes when it comes to updates, visits, or any other form of contact. We hope to build a relationship that is mutually supportive, and we would be grateful for the opportunity to stay connected and share in your child's journey as they grow.
Again, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us. We will be praying for you as we understand that this is a big decision, and we want you to know that no matter what path you choose, we admire your strength and your love for your child. We are forever grateful for your bravery, and we are ready to open our hearts and home to your precious child, should you choose us.
