Dear Expectant Parent(s),
Thank you for taking the time to read our letter and get to know us a little bit. As we have been navigating this journey in hopes of welcoming a child into our family through adoption, we have thought about you often and we can’t wait to meet you. Thank you for choosing life for your child. We respect and admire your loving decision to explore creating an adoption plan. We can’t imagine all the feelings you are navigating, but know you are thought of and prayed for often. We started dating in 2016 and got married in 2019 in the backyard of Kelsey’s childhood home. Through dating and marriage we have talked often about our desire to be parents either through adoption and/or having biological children. We are excited and hopeful to grow our family through adoption.
Faith is very important to us. Conan is on staff at a local church as the Worship and Communications Director and Kelsey volunteers as the Women’s Director at the same church. We are both active in Bible studies. The church we are part of is filled with many families who have young children and we can’t wait to have our own children attend AWANA and other church activities so they can be surrounded with other children as they grow. We both love the Lord and want our future children to know how loved and precious they are. Our home will be filled with lots of love, laughter, worship and grace.
We are excited to continue creating memories with our family as we grow. We both have a love for travel and can’t wait to explore more of the world with our children. We also enjoy spending time outdoors golfing, bbqing, gardening, hammocking, music, reading and going on walks. We are thinking and praying for you and respect the decision you make. If you choose us as parents for your child, we would love to have an open adoption that respects your level of openness if you desire. We pray you know that you are loved, valued, and respected. Thank you for reading our letter and considering us as potential parents for your child.
