Married: 2005 Children already in the home: We have five biological children: Evie (2007), Scarlet (2010), Vivian (2013), Henry (2016), and Walter (2018).
Occupations: Phil works in New Business Development for a contract manufacturer. Karley has been a stay-at-home mom since our first child was born.
Education: Phil has a B.A. degree in Business Finance and Karley has a B.A. degree in Community Health.
Where we live: We live in the country on 13 acres just 5 minutes out of town. We built our home in 2020. We live in a small town in rural MN that is a close-knit community. Our town is also just 30 min from larger cities with endless restaurants, shopping and opportunities.
Religious affiliation/practice: We attend a small non-denominational church that Phil’s dad started in 2007. Our church is filled with lots of amazing, loving families.
Health: Great health for all.
Child care plan: Karley has been a stay-at-home mom since their first child was born and will continue to stay home with all their children. Both Grandma’s live 5 miles away as well and are always happy to help out.
School preference: In our community, we have many educational options. Evie, our oldest daughter, currently does PSEO through a private university and our other four children attend public schools. The teachers and leadership at their current schools are very kind, caring, and involve parents in education. As our children grow, we will choose which educational option is best for them.
Hobbies/Interests: We love being all together wherever that may be, going on family vacations, enjoying the outdoors, playing sports and games, and spending time with our many relatives who live nearby.
Pets: Two cats.
Additional comments: We love and enjoy our family so much and would love to add to our family through adoption. We and our extended families have lots of love to share and are so excited to welcome a new little one into our home and hearts.
Dear Expectant Parent(s),
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share with you a little about our family! Whether you choose to place your baby with our family or not, we want you to know that we pray for you, we care about you, and we hope the Lord will bless you today and in the future. While we cannot be certain what life holds for each of us, we believe the Lord's hand is upon both of us and that He is faithful to protect us, protect you, and protect your baby. We cannot imagine the difficulty and the courage that it takes to make this decision.
We aren't perfect parents, no one is, but if you choose our family we will be eternally grateful. We promise to love your baby, care for them, and watch over them as they grow into the person that God has called them to be. We will love them unconditionally, forgive always, and extend grace and encouragement like our heavenly Father has done towards us. We promise your baby will receive lots and lots of snuggles, hugs, kisses, and "I love yous." They will be deeply loved by our family and extended family. We will keep our hearts open to you and always speak of the love you have for your baby. We would love the opportunity to meet you and hear about your hopes and dreams for them.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.”
No matter what you choose, we are confident that the decision the Lord gives you peace about will be an incredible blessing to both you and your baby.
"We promise to love your baby, care for them, and watch over them as they grow into the person that God has called them to be. We will love them unconditionally, forgive always, and extend grace and encouragement like our heavenly Father has done towards us."
