Dear Expectant Parent(s),

We are Alex and Jill. First and foremost we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing life for your baby. Both of us have always been extremely passionate about how important every life is, especially the unborn. We greatly admire you and the great courage it has taken you to reach this point. We know that it has not been easy for you. This choice for life that you are making shows what a truly loving and selfless person you are. We met in college while on a long bus ride to a retreat for Catholic college students and hit if off quickly. After building a friendship we soon realized God was calling us to much more, so we began dating and soon were engaged. We were married in 2012 in the sight of God and many family and friends. From very early on in our relationship it was clear that we both loved children and had a deep desire to be parents. It was also clear that we were being called to build our family in a very special way. After lots of prayer and discernment we knew that adoption was where God was leading us. The more we learned about it the more we knew it was the right path for us. We have several friends who had been involved with adoption before and have helped us throughout this journey. They have been a huge witness to how beautiful it is. We have so much love to give and can't wait to share it with future children. We live on a small 10 acre farmstead where there is ample room to run and play. We both grew up in the country and love the work ethic and imagination that is developed from it.

Our summers are filled with caring for our yard, going for walks, golfing, playing with our goofy Labrador Retriever, Lucy, and the highlight is taking several camping and fishing trips each year. Alex is truly a big kid at heart and can't wait to spend time golfing and teaching kids how to build things, ride a bike, and fish. Jill has a very nurturing, kind heart and looks forward to lots of snuggles, singing songs, and nature walks. If you choose us, we promise from the bottom of our hearts to always love your child. We will not only tell them we love them every day but strive to show them we love them in many ways. Our families and friends, most of whom live fairly close by, are ready to love and support our growing family. Our children would have some amazing cousins and close friends to grow up with. We will offer them the best opportunities we can to succeed in life, but most importantly strive to teach them how to be a good and loving person. Our faith is the most important part of our lives, and we are part of a special community at our small Catholic parish. They will be so excited to welcome a new child to the parish with us when that time comes. We will teach them about God's love and how unlimited it is. We also will tell them about you and about how much you loved them and will only speak of you in the most positive and respectful way because that is what you both deserve.

Again thank you so much for choosing life and for taking the time to look at our profile book and read this letter. We are honored that you are considering us to be part of your adoption journey. Know that we will be praying for you during this challenging time and we hope to have the chance to meet you some day.

Sincerely, Alex & Jill

"We both love children very much and have desired to be parents since the beginning of our marriage. We both come from wonderful families and have some close special friends who have always supported us and have lots of love to offer. We love living on our little homestead and feel like it provides a wonderful opportunity to teach values of family, hard work, independence, and creativity."
