Occupations: Isaac is an engineer for a Midwest Civil Engineer Company and Angie works at a local creamery, where she enjoys making gelato, Gouda cheese, cheddar cheese curds, bottling fresh milk, and creating other delicious dairy products that bring joy to the community.
Education: Isaac has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University and Angie has a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education.
Where we live: We live in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood surrounded by families with many young children. Our home, built in 1979, has been thoughtfully updated since 2021 to create a warm and welcoming space. We live in a community of about 15,800 people, where we're within walking distance of a park and a scenic walking path. It's the perfect balance of small-town charm and opportunity, offering plenty of activities, strong community connections, and the chance to build lasting friendships.
Ethnicity: Isaac – German/Norwegian; Angie – German-Russian/Norwegian
Religious affiliation/practice: We attend a Catholic Church where we go to Mass every Sunday. Isaac often ushers and Angie reads for Mass. Additionally, Isaac is a part of the Knights of Columbus and Angie is a part of two different church boards. Our faith is very much a part of our lives and we continue to share that.
Health: Great health for both.
Child care plan: Angie’s schedule at the creamery is very flexible, allowing her to stay home full-time with our child during the first three months. After that, we plan to enroll our child in a local church childcare center three days a week. On one additional day each week, Angie will stay home, as she typically works four days a week. The remaining day, the child will spend time with Angie’s mom, who is excited to be an active part of their life. We are grateful to have a flexible work schedule and the support of family, allowing our child to be surrounded by love and familiar faces throughout the week.

School preference: We live in a community that offers excellent educational opportunities. Currently, we are considering one of the private Christian schools.

After four years of infertility, doctor appointments, surgery, and miscarriage, we began prayerfully discerning adoption. While this path was not what we originally imagined, God has made it clear that this is the journey He has placed before us. We believe family is built through love, commitment, and the bonds we create.
Becoming parents has always been one of our greatest dreams. We look forward to bedtime stories, family dinners, dance parties, vacations, and creating traditions that become cherished memories. Most importantly, we want our home to be a place where your child will feel deeply loved, safe, encouraged, and accepted for who they are. Angie is nurturing, patient, compassionate, and creative, while Isaac is dependable, hardworking, and has a gentle spirit.
