Dear Expectant Parent(s),

We are Michael and Bayli. Thank you so much for choosing life and adoption for your child. While that decision could not have been easy, it shows how deeply and how selflessly you love your child, so thank you for that. It is a noble and courageous thing to do something so sacrificial.

We met in college and got married in 2011. Even before marriage, I (Michael) always talked about how one day I wanted to adopt even before we had kids. Luckily, I married Bayli, who was so open and supportive of that dream that she is actually the one who started searching for agencies to partner with. We have been telling our children that one day God would bring to us a baby sister or brother through adoption. They are so excited!

We want to raise this child with all the love, care and affection we have in our hearts. We like taking trips, but we know the best times will be the family meals, Saturdays spent playing and holidays spent with family. We love to be outdoors and be active; go hiking in the summer and play in the snow all winter. Our house is full of piggy back rides, wrestling, dance parties and just chasing the kids around the house - our house is rarely quiet, but we wouldn’t want it any other way.

If you were to choose us to raise your child, we would love that child every single day of their lives.  We tell our kids we love them “as big as the sky,” and “from the tops of their hair to the bottoms of their toes,” your child would hear that every day in our family.  You will always have a special connection to your child, and we will honor that. We promise to always speak honorably of you. Your child will know who you are, and how through a strong act of love, you brought us together. They would know that it’s not just us that loves them, you do too!

We cannot overstate how thankful we are that you are considering adoption and considering us.  Thank you for loving your child with such strength. We hope to one day meet you in person and look forward to doing so. We’re praying for you as you have lots of big decisions coming, that you feel cared for and loved in this season of your life.

Sincerely,
Michael & Bayli
