Dear Expectant Parent(s),
Thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We want you to know that in this incredibly challenging time, we are praying for you. We realize that the decisions that you are making in this moment are important and life changing. We pray that God guides you in this time and leads you. You are incredibly brave for persevering through this and following your instincts.
We were married in 2018 after we became good friends in middle school and eventually, we began dating our senior year of high school. After trying for many years to have a child of our own, we were blessed with our daughter Eleanor, in 2023. The journey to becoming parents was challenging and adoption became a very likely option for us early in our marriage. Our dream is to have a big family with lots of love and laughter, and we are thankful that we get to move towards that with adoption.
We have so much love to give. We hope to make many memories with our children growing up on our family farm. If you decide that we are the right fit to raise your precious child, we will love them with everything we have. We will raise them to know God's sacrifice for them, as well as the sacrifice you made for them. The choice you will make demonstrates your love for your child and we want to ensure that you child knows that.
Open adoption is very important to us. We understand that each situation is different, so we are going in with a flexible mindset. We hope to stay connected with the family that chooses us. As life goes through different seasons for all of us, we recognize that the level of communication might change over time, so we want to establish a strong and honest relationship so we can discuss each family's desires for contact and visitations and adjust whenever it is needed. We do know that we want our future children to know all of the people who have shaped who they are.
Though your path may not be easy, you should know that we will always be praying for you, and we will make sure that your child knows exactly the difficult and courageous that you made for them. We hope to meet you and get to know you. Peace be with you always.
