Please keep in mind that all waiting families are individual in their comfort level with various special needs and a child's ethnicity. Depending on the resources and culture of their community, they evaluate what they can best provide to a child. Families that work with our agency are required to be committed to semi-open to open adoption. As an expectant/birth parent, your caseworker will help you navigate the road of semi-open to open adoption so you can decide what you are comfortable committing to.
