Each semester, CAS provides social work students an opportunity to apply their education and complete their required internship hours working with both the birth parent and adoption social workers. Students participate in a variety of responsibilities depending on the season, but can include anything from attending home study meetings to being present when babies are placed with parents.

A call to individuals who have worked with CAS in the past:
We have created newsletters to meet your post-placement needs and interests more directly. We will have two separate electronic formats with more applicable resources to birth parents separately from adoptive families. Your God stories are an important part of the ministry updates so we hope you will continue to share them. If you feel ready or excited to share a little about your adoption story for a blog post or newsletter story, we would love to hear from you. In keeping with our confidentiality, we change names and wouldn’t include identifying information, but your unique story can be told as an encouragement for waiting parents or birth moms who want to know what their baby’s life might look like. Some thoughts to consider when writing:
How God has worked in your life through your adoption decision
What led to your decision to choose adoption?
How CAS assisted and helped you in the transition
Your relationship with the birthparents/adoptive family
What God is doing in your life today
Maybe you just want to share a statement or two about working with CAS. How ever you want to partner with our ministry, we would be grateful. Thanks for your consideration. Please contact with questions, if you want to be added to our mailing list, or to share your story.
